Shake Shack: Capturing Bold New Flavours

Shake Shack (Singapore) wanted to pay homage to the local flavours with its Limited Time Offer Sambal Mayo Burger.

We refined the concept given to us by Tristeps Studios, as the video was meant to showcase the fresh and vibrant ingredients used in the new burger.

The Sambal Mayo Burger is a result of Singapore’s diverse food culture and multicultural society. Wanting to visually represent the mix of vibrant flavours, we featured fresh ingredients from local wet markets as well as beautiful architecture from Singapore:

Additionally, we decided to input insights from Chef Jeremy Nguee, the creator of this spicy delight. He shared about his inspirations, and intention behind the creation, as we enhanced his story with colourful visuals:

This was an exciting project for us, as it was our first time working with T-Eight, a production company specialising in Ultra High Speed & Professional Cinematography Services. This gave us the crisp, smooth motion of the ingredients.

We have done drone shots before, but they were for simple establishing shots. This video had flight manoeuvres that required us to get professional FPV drone pilots as well as the necessary film permits. We enlisted the services of SnapX, as their speed and accuracy were crucial in making sure that we were on schedule.

Our resident Director, Thomas had a blast directing the FPV Pilot too:

The Post-Production Phase went by smoothly, as a result of working with trusted professionals who were efficient in getting everything we needed during the Production phase.

Finally, we were invited to witness the fruits of our labour during the media day release. It was an eventful experience as we got a chance to sit down and have a chat with the crew members. The new Sambal Mayo Burger was also especially good! :)

The video will be showcased at all 8 Outlets in Singapore until August 2022.
